Father Conrad Cowart, Pastor

Welcome to St. Edward Catholic Church!

The name St. Edward was chosen for the Starke, Florida Parish in honor of St. Edward, the Patron Saint of
Edward A. Pace, the first Catholic born in Starke on July 3, 1861. He later became Monsignor Edward A. Pace.

The first Mass was offered in the Church on August 31, 1941. The Church was dedicated by Bishop Hurley on
October 13, 1941, the Feast Day of St. Edward in whose name the church was dedicated.

Our Mission Statement is to pray and work together to become more like Jesus and help others become more like him.
